Vans shows off its newest general worldwide release, a striped variation of the Chukka Boot and Authentics. The shoes feature an angled stripe pattern on the side of the shoe. Besides the striped pattern the shoe is relatively simply, almost disappointing. The colorway is almost all black with small white accents around the top of the sole, and the lining. The dark look gives the shoe a very dark, almost dressy look. I would have liked if the sole was white, the shoe would have lost its formal look, but it would have looked more balanced. Nonetheless the drop is a creative twist on classic vans kicks, who can really complain?
